There’s just something about film, the depth, the grain, the way it makes light feel alive. It slows everything down, making each shot more intentional. The colours hit different, the imperfections make it real, and the whole process feels more connected.
That’s why I love mixing film and digital at weddings. Digital keeps things fast and flexible, making sure no moment is missed, while film adds a sense of nostalgia and texture. Together, they balance each other, creating a natural and thoughtful way to document the day.
